With WWDC a little over a month away, many people are focusing on iOS 6. I agree that it is an important update, but I really don’t want to see any new features, but rather Apple focus on polishing certain things and making it feel more finished

News: Apple Reports Q2 Results

Today, Apple announced financial results for its fiscal 2012 second quarter ending March 31, 2012. In the conference call, Apple posted quarterly revenue of $39.2 billion and quarterly net profit of $11.6 billion, or $12.30 per diluted share.

Dan Frommer made the same original-iPad-to-third-generation transition that I made and his comments are in line with my impressions:

Apple was right with the idea that this thing — as powerful as a laptop, with incredibly natural feeling touch-based controls — is finally the computer that people will want to carry around with them. And it has been amusing to see the competition fail to understand or replicate the iPad’s magic — not one particular feature or quality, but the entire story — and flop in the market.
