Although a bit unexpected, due to Mac OS X Mavericks rumored to be released soon, Apple went ahead and updated its iMac line. The updates are somewhat expected, including the move to Haswell processors, 802.11ac, and PCIe flash storage, bringing the iMac in line with the MacBook Air. This leaves the Mac Pro, Mac mini, and Retina MacBook Pros due for upgrades soon…
Apple on Tuesday unveiled two new iPhones: the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. “iPhone 5 was instantly the most-loved iPhone ever, and it had the most successful first year of any iPhone we’ve ever done,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said.
“The business has become so large that this year we’re going to replace the iPhone 5…and we’re gonna replace it with not one, but two new designs.” These include the powerful iPhone 5S and the colorful iPhone 5C.
I think these are the perfect logical replacements for the iPhone 5, although the complete discontinuation of the iPhone 5 was a bit of a surprise. I also was expecting something with iPods, other than the “space gray” color added.
