Today, Apple released FaceTime Beta for Mac OS X, allowing Mac users to connect with Mac, iPhone 4, and iPod touch-capable users.

The download requires Mac OS 10.6.4 or later, an Apple ID, and an email address.

The application integrates with your Address Book contact list, and features fullscreen capabilities, as well. Setup is simple and current FaceTime users should have little issue navigating the application.
