Snippet: AT&T to Shut Down 2G Service By 2017 ☇

Although I suspect most people won’t even be using 3G phones on AT&T’s network in 5 years, it is a bit sad knowing I can’t dig up some of my old favorite handsets from the past and actually be able to use them. Still, this will be good to free up spectrum for all sorts of newer, better, more powerful networks. I feel a bit sorry for those of you planning to keep using RAZRs and original iPhones in 2017.
