Snippet: Home of Steve Jobs Burglarized, Sodastream Stolen ☇

I wasn’t going to comment on this story going around, mostly because it isn’t Apple news per se, but I thought the of items stolen was both expected and amusing:

Wearing work gloves, [Kariem] McFarlin set down lawn furniture cushions outside the perimeter of the home in order to safely toss his take including: two iMacs, three iPads, one Apple TV, a Sodastream soda maker and various Tiffany jewels before fleeing away in his car.

The house was under construction at the time, and the good news is that he was caught when the devices phoned home during a software update.
