Snippet: Sizing the iPad Pro ☇

Tareq Ismail did a little bit of math:

The difference in screen size from the iPhone 3GS, the standard iPhone available at the time, to the original iPad is a factor of 2.7 times — which turns out to be the exact same factor between the iPhone 6/6s and the iPad Pro.

Not entirely surprising but definitely curious that the difference in size is identical. If the original iPad’s size is any indication that Apple knew what it was doing, then history may just repeat itself with the iPad Pro.
