Apparently with the upcoming split of News Corp., the internal Newscore service has shut down, which provides feeds to all sorts of publications. In addition to this, experiment known as The Daily is skating on some thin ice:

In addition, there are internal rumors that The Daily has been put “on watch.” According to a source the status of the groundbreaking iPad tabloid—which loses $30 million a year—will be reassessed after the November 6 election.

Still, it will be kinda sad to see it go, as we saw it improve over time, but still far from perfect. Anyone want to be The Daily is shut down before or after we see Microsoft Office for iPad?
