Snippet: What About the iPad’s Apple Logo? ☇

Shared on May 23, 2012

Continuing off of the product placement post I ran a few weeks back, Joe Moreno shares Apple’s internal discussion about the proper orientation of the logo on the shell of Apple’s laptops. The head-scratcher for me has been the iPad—with things like the Smart Cover and many other case/stand combos, the iPad is most often used in landscape orientation, but the logo is viewed correctly when the iPad is in portrait—maybe so that the Dock Connector, cameras, headphone jack, and other buttons match its iOS brethren?
