Snippet: WWDC 2013 Tickets Sold Out in Two Minutes ☇
Eric Slivka for MacRumors:
After going on sale at 10:00 AM Pacific Time today, tickets for Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco have already sold out in two minutes…[WWDC 2012 sold out in 2 hours,] WWDC 2011 sold out in under 12 hours, while the 2010 edition took eight days. This marks the sixth straight year that WWDC has sold out, a streak that began in 2008.
Maybe Apple ought to just have a few more events like this throughout the year to build excitement and make some extra money? I’m also curious how many tickets went to people who have an interest in Apple, but aren’t developers.
